Then apply for the accelerator ruhrvalley Start-up-Campus! In four months you will receive all the skills and knowledge you need for your start-up. You will develop your idea to a marketable product. Our coaches and mentors will accompany you on your start-up journey: From idea validation, product development, sales, marketing, to financing, to law and taxes - here you will receive in-depth knowledge from experienced professionals who will educate and inspire you.

The entire program is free and you can expect an exciting journey to your own business.

21.01.2022- Nomination of the best teams for the first batch.



11.02. - Kick-off event



14.02. - 17.02. -  The first sprint starts! In four days you validate your start-up idea together with a team of experienced trainers*. You will deal with customer-centric product development, team building, lean start-up logic, problem design & idea framing and with a first roadmap for the next four weeks you will continue to work on your idea until the next sprint in September and will be individually coached. At the end of the first sprint you will know who your customer is and validate your assumptions through surveys.



21.03. - 24.03. - In the second sprint you can expect a fail-fast design sprint in which you develop your prototype. You will learn different creative methods and strengthen your visionary and strategic thinking.  In addition, you will deal with resilience and agile methods in project management. At the end of the second sprint, you will have finished your first prototype and can go into the next testing phase.



April 25 - April 28 - In the third sprint you can expect lectures and workshops on the topic of financing and financing strategies. You will learn a lot about crowdfunding, funding opportunities, non-profit, social entrepreneurship and venture capital. After this sprint you will know how to finance your business and have an idea of accounting, invoicing and taxes.



09.05. - 12.05. -  In the fourth sprint you will have the opportunity to develop your image film with experienced trainers and journalists. You can look forward to lively workshops and lectures on storytelling, law and taxes, marketing, online marketing and sales, community building, PR & communication and survey design. In the fourth sprint, you'll learn how to market and promote your business.



In between the individual sprints, you will work on your product and receive individual support from coaches and mentors. In the final event on June 2, you will present the results of the last four months in a five-minute pitch and your image video.
