IoT platform: operation and services

The regio iT solution is an IoT platform for device, network, user and data management. As a technology-independent platform, it enables the management of devices, sensors, actuators and network components (gateways) from different manufacturers and technologies. IoT sensors can be used for building a Smart City or for recording energy and water data. Due to a multitude of sensors, countless applications can be realized. Whether for measuring air quality, traffic guidance, parking management or for optimizing processes and resources such as automated data transmission, plant monitoring, level or water level measurements, a wide variety of sensors are used. The IoT platform, provided as Software as a Service (SaaS), is operated in a DIN EN ISO 27001 certified German data center and is made available to regio iT customers for their IoT sensors.

We know the way from theory to practice. Since 2016 we have been intensively engaged in the topics of IoT and LoRaWAN. We support you in turning your requirements and ideas into reality. With our expertise, we can guide municipalities to the Smart City or, for example, help municipal utilities to optimize their operating processes through innovative and digital technology. We also assist the customer in the new development of IoT use cases. We put the customer's ideas into practice with our know-how.

The product price is made up of several modules and depends on the desired integration depth of the customer. The pure platform operation costs between 3,000 € and 6,000 € per year.

The IoT platform can be implemented at the customer's site within one week. This includes not only the setup but also the training of the employees. The prerequisite for implementation is a successfully completed implementation project and provision of all necessary data.
