AGIT Aachener Gesellschaft für Innovation und TechnologietransferWe, the Aachener Gesellschaft für Innovation und Technologietransfer, are the economic development agency for the Technology Region Aachen. Our aim is to transfer science into enterprises and jobs. In this context, we support technology-orientated start-ups from the idea phase through to market establishment. In particular, we are experts in the preparation of VC-capable business plans and in questions of funding and financing as well as the acquisition of intellectual property rights such as patents and utility models. One of our focal points is the deep-tech industry, especially medical technology. Contact with private investors within the framework of our euBAn initiative (euregional Business Angels network) is also one of the services we offer young start-ups. In our Centre for Biomedical Technology (ZBMT), start-ups can find premises and infrastructure at favourable conditions. With the help of our Euregional contacts, we can enable companies to make the step across the border to institutions, research facilities and universities in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.
