TeleSAN - The tele-emergency physician as a future strategy in disaster medicine. The aim of this feasibility study is to evaluate the use of telemedicine in civil defense situations based on the model of the Aachen tele-emergency doctor. Operational units are equipped with technical devices according to defined criteria, which enable connection with a telemedical leading emergency doctor (TeleLNA) and other tele-emergency doctors via a TeleSAN app. Last but not least, the TeleSAN app on the user's own smartphone with retrievable treatment algorithms or instructions for action is intended to support professional helpers and spontaneous lay helpers in taking action with the greatest possible confidence within the scope of their capabilities.
